As you may recall, the 10th International Nightlife Congress and the 5th National Nightlife Congress (CNON) were scheduled to take place in Valencia (Spain) on November 20th, alongside the 9th Golden Moon Awards Gala. However, as a gesture of solidarity with those affected by the DANA storms, the event organizers—the International Nightlife Association, Spain Nightlife (the national nightlife industry association), the Federation of Hospitality of Valencia (FEHV), and the local Valencia Nightlife association—decided to cancel these events. Instead, on the same date, the Golden Moon Awards winners and The World's 100 Best Clubs™ 2024 list were announced via social media.
At the same time, the organizers launched a fundraising campaign to support those impacted by the disaster under the slogan Nightlife Stands With Valencia. This slogan has been prominently featured in all promotional materials announcing the Golden Moon Awards winners and the clubs included in The World's 100 Best Clubs™ 2024 list. As mentioned, these announcements were shared across the social media platforms of the International Nightlife Association (INA), reaching an audience of over 2 million people worldwide.
To strengthen the message of the Nightlife Stands With Valencia solidarity campaign, the INA and Spain Nightlife, in collaboration with Trueart Agencyand DIDACELLIST, released an emotional music video yesterday. Produced by Javier Ferrer, the video serves as a tribute to all those affected by the DANA disaster, as well as to the volunteers, security forces, emergency services, and healthcare workers who have tirelessly worked to save lives and assist those impacted.
As Joaquim Boadas, Secretary General of the INA, has explained, "This tribute in the form of a music video aims to send a powerful message of hope and resilience, highlighting the nightlife sector's commitment to Valencia and all those affected by the tragedy caused by the DANA storms. At the same time, it seeks to reinforce the Nightlife Stands With Valencia fundraising campaign for those who have lost everything, with the goal of ensuring the message reaches everyone and that anyone can show solidarity with the victims through a contribution, no matter how small”.
The campaign, launched on November 4, remains active, and we encourage everyone to participate. Donations can be made to the account:
