Spain and the USA lead The World's 100 Best Clubs® 2024 list

We are pleased to announce that Spain and the USA again lead the prestigious The World’s 100 Best Clubs® list, highlighting the top nightlife venues worldwide, with 26 venues recognized in Spain, followed by the United States with 22. This year’s list includes a total of 30 countries, with venues that will be unveiled on social media on November 20, starting at noon (CET). Some countries, like AustraliaKenya and Slovakia will appear on the list for the first time, joining others that have previously been included, such as the UKItalyColombiaGermanyBrazil, and Croatia. Top destinations with the most entries among the 100 best clubs in the world include IbizaLas VegasBarcelonaLondonBogotáLos Angeles, and Madrid. Other destinations on this year’s list include MiamiNew YorkSingapore, and Warsaw.

It is worth noting that 420 venues from 65 countries were vying for a spot on the World’s 100 Best Clubs 2024 list, from which the best 100 have been selected. Among them, one venue will be awarded the Golden Moon Awardfor The World’s Best Club 2024.

As previously announced, the Golden Moon Awards Gala was to be held in person in Valencia on November 20, alongside the International Nightlife and National Nightlife Congresses. However, due to the tragic events caused by the DANA storm in Valencia, and as a gesture of solidarity with those affected, the Spanish Nightlife Association, Spain Nightlife, and the INA agreed to cancel these events and publish The World’s 100 Best Clubs® listand the names of the Golden Moon Awards winners solely on social media, as announced in this release.

Thus, the list will be revealed throughout the day on November 20 via the International Nightlife Association’s social media platforms. They will release the official The World’s 100 Best Clubs 2024® list along with the Golden Moon Awards over eight hours, from 12:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. (CET), culminating with the announcement of the Golden Moon Award winner for the World’s Best Club 2024 This award for the past four editions has been won by Hï Ibiza.

Regarding the other nine categories of the Golden Moon Awards, which honor achievements such as the World’s Best Innovative Project in Nightlife 2024World’s Best Collaborative Project in Nightlife Security 2024World’s Best Act of Excellence and Protection for Customers and Workers 2024World’s Best Event 2024World’s Best Festival 2024World’s Most Sustainable Venue 2024World’s Best Nightlife Business Group 2024World’s Best DJ 2024, and World’s Breakthrough Artist 2024, these awards will also be announced on November 20, between 12:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. (CET), alternating with the announcements of venues on The World’s 100 Best Clubs® list.

Awards Designed by José Piñero

The winners of this ninth edition of the Golden Moon Awards will receive a trophy designed by renowned sculptor and artisan José Piñero, who created last year’s Golden Moon Award, inspired by Joan Miró, as the event was held in Barcelona. This year, the Golden Moon Awards return to their original format, with Piñero drawing on his extensive experience crafting sculptures tied to gastronomy and cocktail culture, and recognized by Forbes as one of Spain’s most creative minds in business. The original Golden Moon Awards trophy is distinguished by its brilliant golden moon, a signature image of these prestigious awards.

Nightlife Stands With Valencia, Solidarity Campaign

As previously announced, on November 4, national and international nightlife associations launched a fundraising campaign to help those affected by the DANA storm under the slogan Nightlife Stands With Valencia. This initiative calls on nightlife venues around the world, DJs, patrons, nightlife-related brands,and industry collaborators to make donations that will be directed to Valencia’s Food Bank (Banco de Alimentos), Red Cross Valencia, and Cáritas Diocesana de Valencia.

The solidarity campaign slogan will be present in every image released during the social media announcement of the Golden Moon Awards winners and The World’s 100 Best Clubs® list, aiming to spread the campaign worldwide, leveraging the extensive reach ofthe prestigious list and award announcements. The campaign has been open since November 4, and those wishing to participate can make their donations to the account number ES63 0182 2770 9102 0177 9826 (SWIFT BBVAESMMXXX), opened by the International Nightlife Association, including their name and the message #SOSValencia, although anonymous donations are also accepted.
