According to José Luis Benítez, the Spokesperson for Ocio de Ibiza (Ibiza’s Leisure Association): "The success of the music world in Ibiza is due to the fact that it is a living industry, constantly changing and modernizing. We are always up to date in terms of safety, sound, and lighting. We've moved past a superclub like Privilege, which had been neglected in recent years with barely any maintenance, and a new product is being created." It will open its doors next year.

Benítez recalls that the promotional video, which was launched the day before yesterday, surpassed 50 million views within hours: "People will want to come and see this. The success of Ibiza is that there isn’t just one good nightclub, but many. We have Pacha, Amnesia, DC-10, or ... All of them rank among the best clubs in the world, and soon there will be one more."

In other words, the representative of the Ocio de Ibiza does not believe that this new opening will pose a problem for the rest of the sector; instead, he argues that the different venues complement each other. "Twenty years ago, we were all at war, fighting against each other to see which nightclub could be shut down, and I always said the same thing: success lies in being able to choose between several Ibiza clubs with the best DJs in the world. That makes people visit all the venues, picking one depending on the day, and I think the sector understands this well."
